How to take over management of a business that was listed by the community.

What is a community listing?

Anyone can add a basic profile for a local business they'd like to see in the directory. These profiles are marked as unclaimed until an owner steps forward to take responsibility for them.

Why claim

  • Edit the description, hours, and contact information.
  • Add and manage listings for products or services.
  • Reply to reviews (planned).
  • Request verification badges to build trust.

How the claim review works

  1. Open the business profile and click Claim this business.
  2. Provide evidence that you're authorized to manage the business — a business license, an email at the business domain, a public employer listing, or similar.
  3. A moderator reviews the claim within a few business days.
  4. On approval, the business is transferred to your account and marked as claimed.

Disputed claims

If two parties claim the same business, the most recent legitimate owner is preferred. Disputes can be escalated by emailing support. Final decisions are logged.
